HOW DO CANVAS PRINTS WORK
Our Brisbane region experts are well-versed in creating stunning, seamless results for this popular option.
As a great way to show off your memories, photos or sentimental pieces, these designs are a crowd-favourite across the globe. As they provide an artistic touch and have the ability to contribute a positive effect to your space’s aesthetics, they’re also ideal for interior design.
The important thing to note is that these pieces are different from canvas painting. Typically, this type of solution is developed on an inkjet printer, directly onto the material itself. Once it has been developed, it is stretched out onto a suitable frame. In this step, there’s the option to also opt for frameless designs.
The wrapping technique used for unframed pieces means that the canvas is positioned around stretcher bars, and secured to the frame itself.
WHAT IS CANVAS MADE OF?
This type of product is valued for a number of reasons, but one of them is its ability to provide exceptional durability and strength. Canvas is made from hemp, and modern variations typically offer a variety of colours (depending on whether linen and cotton are used).
As photography continues to evolve, this method is also further expanding, offering plenty of options to those looking for similar services.
If you’re not sure which option is best for your needs, we highly recommend getting in touch with our experts for a no-obligation discussion.
