What is a STRETCHED CANVAS?2019-01-10T02:23:22+10:00

This is the standard method for printing and finishing your canvas print.

All canvas prints are stretched, in order to be displayed.   You may have heard the term ‘rolled canvas’ – this is the print before it is stretched over a “stretcher bar” – a solid timber frame, to which the canvas is stapled to.

Then, it may be framed or just left as it is with the stretcher bar with a standard, gallery-like look.

We use a Premium 410gsm Archival Fine Art USA made Canvas media. With a low satin finish, our canvas offers a touch of class. With superior colour brilliance, image detail and contrast for Black and White images, this canvas is particularly suited to Photographic and Fine Art reproduction.
